The project will enable the school to develop their outdoor grounds for the 0 – 5 year old age range with the creation of a multi sensory garden and teaching area. The school will install a trim trail and climbing equipment for physical exercise, as well as establishing an area for creative writing, music and painting. The garden will be sheltered to facilitate outdoor work in all weathers. Beneficiaries will be our children, families and visitors to the local children’s centre. The garden will inspire young people to learn about the natural world by growing their own vegetables. The new facilities will also allow the school to deliver family learning gardening courses and outdoor play workshops.
