The project will relocate a poorly accessible, underused, land locked play area that the applicant states suffers nuisance behaviour and misuse.

The new location for the play area already has a football pitch and youth shelter and so this project will enhance this existing area. A local school, community groups and residents will plant trees, shrubs and wildflowers. Young people will also be involved in the design of the artwork that will be incorporated on the youth shelter.

A community open day will launch the new facility, coaches will be organised to provide demonstrations and taster sessions for all.

The project will benefit 600 people.
