Since 2005, when the People’s Millions began, 18 projects in Wales have received grants totalling over £990,000.
Over the past five years of the People’s Millions competition we have seen some great projects in Wales. Previous winners include a multi-use games areas, parks, village halls and many more.

Region Projects
- Carmel's Ancient Woodland Treasures
- The project, based in the Carmel National Nature Reserve in Carmarthenshire, will restore woodland management to an ancient semi-natural woodland. This will involve the local community and volunteers being trained in woodland management work to encourage the return of native species, plants and habitats.
- Health and Fitness through Learning
- The project, based in Bryn, near Port Talbot, will establish an outside educational environment including a trim trail and multi-sensory garden to promote a healthy lifestyle among the school pupils.
- Playground
- The project, based in Newcastle Emlyn, will replace redundant play equipment with a modern and safe playground.
- St Annes Creative Learning Spaces
- The project, based in Wrexham, will transform the existing sterile playground into a creative learning environment.
- Phoenix
- The project will renovate the scouts hall to provide a modern and safe environment for the young people.
