The project aims to provide new facilities in the town’s park in order to provide children, young people and the wider community with further recreational opportunities.

The process of developing the project through cross community working is also seen as a key part of raising people’s confidence and skill levels in the Dolgellau area.

The land is currently owned by Gwynedd County Council, but it is intended that the partnership will lease the land in the long term.
