Since 2005, when the People’s Millions began, 18 projects in Wales have received grants totalling over £990,000.
Over the past five years of the People’s Millions competition we have seen some great projects in Wales. Previous winners include a multi-use games areas, parks, village halls and many more.

Region Projects
- Sensory room
- A project to provide a sensory room in Townhill, Swansea for young people with special educational needs in the City and Council.
- Heolddu Cluster Outdoor Activity Area
- The project will provide safe playing fields and an outdoor sports area for young people in the county of Caerphilly.
- Our Backyard is Our Community
- The project will rejuvenate a piece of natural waste land in Buckley to provide a family and wildlife area.
- Restart Riverside Warehouse
- The project will refurbish a disused building in Riverside, Cardiff to provide a youth centre for the benefit of young people in the area.
- Quay Wheels
- A project to provide an all wheeled play area for the benefit of the community of Connah's Quay.
