Dear All
Thank You!
Thanks to your fantastic support, the North of Tyne Search and Rescue Team have been successful in securing funds from the People’s Millions and the Big Lottery Fund which will enable us to acquire a much needed ‘Mobile Incident Control Centre’.
Our project was featured on the Tyne Tees regional evening news programme on Monday 23rd November 2009. With the amazing support from team members, family, friends, colleagues and the public we secured the most telephone votes on Monday and the grant worth £50,000.
On behalf of the whole team I would like to thank you for your support and votes on the night. Without it we could not have succeed.
For updates on how we’re getting on keep in touch via the team website and once the mobile incident vehicle is on the road you can guarantee we’ll let you know!
So once again thank you so much for your continued support.
