The project will improve access to a community horticultural site in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire. The project will lay paths that will ensure that all working plots are accessible for people with mobility problems and make improvements to existing buildings that will be used for training and store facilities. The project is the first phase in a long-term development to create a community garden where people with disabilities will be able to grow & sell organic produce, care for and enjoy a sensory garden, tree trail and flower gardens. Ultimately the org plan to create a visitors centre & cafe promoting and using renewable energy. This project will lay the foundations, ensuring that the site and project will be accessible and available to all.
