A ROOM TO AWAKEN THE SENSES

Whitegate Children’s Centre has rapidly become the hub of the local community and an investment from the Big Lottery Fund would really enhance the important work we already do with families and children. Our centre is bursting at the seams and our budget is stretched to its last penny. We need your support to win the funds in order to build and furnish a brand new “SENSORY ROOM” extension to our existing building.

This project will offer a unique sensory experience for all children, families and members of the community. Our particular focus will be on providing a multi-sensory experience to aid the personal development of children who have additional needs or children who have experienced trauma. This room would be therapeutic but also actively support the children’s learning and development.
