Young Mums Creative&Healthy Communities Case Study

Community Learning Group

The project will provide support, training and guidance to young parents, who are not currently in education, employment or training, through community based learning sessions around issues such as healthy eating, personal development, confidence building, literacy and numeracy. Art workshops will be held to encourage participants to visualise their personal aspirations and those they have for their children. The finished pieces will be displayed to raise awareness of the work of the service users and encourage community cohesion.
