This project aims to purchase a more inclusive accessible minibus for people with disabilities and the elderly in order to get them out and about more. The minibus will also serve young people going into the local community and performing helpful, charitable and caring tasks for its members. The jobs may be as simple as: gardening, outdoor painting, litter picking and repairing fences particularly for those who are less able to do this work for themselves.
It is meant to be a rewarding opportunity for both the community members and the young people involved, as it will engage, empower and allow young people to take responsibility and pride in their local community. It will also allow community members to see the young people in a positive, thoughtful, considerate and compassionate manner, bringing the community together and priding ourselves that we are one community working together to provide community care and cohesion for todays generation and the generations to come.
The minibus is meant to serve the whole community not just part of it. Vote for us now so we can give that little bit extra for the community we work and live in.
