St Wilfrid’s Centre would expand their craft workshop for homeless and vulnerable adults with mental health problems or learning disabilities so that more woodwork and craft classes can be run. The organisation would like to fit out a space with two new pieces of laser cutting equipment, decorate, and make it into a bright effective workspace. Items such as clocks for local football teams, etched glass, external signs, pottery and woodwork are made, helping people learn new skills. By learning new skills and getting into a regular work routine, the clients feel better about themselves, their confidence improves and often their mental health difficulties lessen.
