What is The People’s Millions?

The People’s Millions is a grants programme run by the Big Lottery Fund, in partnership with ITV.


How long has The People’s Millions been running?


We’ve run the competition every year since 2005. To date we have made a total of 463 awards worth over £24.5 million.


Why are you working with ITV?


We want to get the public more involved in deciding which projects to support. Working closely with ITV helps us do this.


How many awards will you make?


We have £3.6 million to give out. We expect to award up to £60,000 (including VAT) to four projects in each of the 15 ITV regional news areas. So that’s 60 awards in total.
