The Green Grow Catrine project will establish a community garden in the village. The project will benefit local people by enabling them to learn how to make compost, grow fruit and vegetables and learn how to use the produce to cook and eat more healthily. Older experienced gardeners shall share their skills with the young to help them grow their own produce and develop useful lifeskills.

A proper public garden will make a real difference to the way that a lot of people view there own village here in Catrine. A chance to get together and get our hands dirty to build something that we can all enjoy as exactly what the doctor ordered.

This such a crucial project. It will convert otherwise waste ground into viable productive garden space uniting old and young to improve the village environment. A very worthy endeavour.
