The Waverley Tenants Organisation (WTO) have reached the final of the Jubilee People’s Millions TV contest and will appear on ITV Border on Wednesday 29th June 2011. The Waverley Tenants Organisation (WTO) plan to build a play park in Beech Avenue, to be known as Langlee Jubilee Playpark, on land that was purchased from Waverley Housing.

Judith Cleghorn (Secretary) and Gerry Moss (Chairman) are delighted to reach this stage and will be asking for your vote on the 29th June 2011 The phone number will go live on the morning of 29th June 2011 and will be displayed on this web site.

ITV Border filmed on Wednesday 8th June 2011 at Langlee Primary School and in and around the site of the proposed play park area. The WTO would like to thank everyone for their support particularly Langlee primary school for their help in making the television appeal.

Good luck to Judith and Gerry and all the kids of Langlee. Langlee kids are so special and amazing and really deserve this park. Hope you get it! Please everyone vote!

Registering and supporting us on this website does not count as voting. The voting phone number will be advertised here and in the Daily Mirror on the day. A short video about this project and the competing project will also be shown on the ITV regional news between 6.00pm and 6.30pm.
